Ming Dynasty and Ottoman Empire
The Ming Dynasty's ruler at the time was Zhu Qíyù. During his rule, he created one of the largest architectures that the world has ever had; The Great Wall of China. Their religion at the time was Buddhism. They traded with places like the Middle East, India, South East Asia, and Eastern Africa. Their currency for money was paper money and coins. They also created porcelain pottery and they followed filial piety.

The Ottoman Empire was from the Middle East. After some time it decided to control the city of Constantinople in order to get ahold of the trade routes. Constantinople was a city in which was swarming with trade. This was beneficial towards the Ottomans because now they could control all of that and get a lot of profit. Once they got ahold of Constantinople, they changed the name to Istanbul.The Ottomans had monarchy as well as a a democracy.

CharacteristicsThe characteristics of both Ming Dynasty and Ottoman Empire was that the Ming Dynasty built the Great Wall of China, and the Ottoman Empire renamed Constantinople to Istanbul. They both have a form of government in which they follow orders from.

Similarities and DifferencesThe similarities and difference between these two civilizations is that they both trade with each other and with others too. While the Ming Dynasty built the Great Wall of China, the Ottoman empire did not built as something as important as that.

Global TradeGlobal trade increased and decreased thanks to the Ottoman Empire. The economy of the Eastern side of the Ottoman Empire was more beneficial because it didn't reach to Istanbul. But for Europe, it was less fortunate because the Ottoman Empire started to tax the people who came though there. With that, global trade began to decrease a little bit.
