Imperialism, Colonization, and Resistance
Imperialism , and colonization was the time period in which after the first Europeans discovered the Americas. Once realizing that they had "discovered" new land, more European came scrambling to get some of the land. The British, French, and Spanish settled in North America. Spanish also settled in Central and South America. After some time being under the control of their colonizers, the colonies decided to fight back. They only fought back because there was inequality and they felt that they needed their independence. Many of these revolutions inspired other colonies to do the same.
